Fort Worth Rockin’ the River

Carrollton Rockin' the River

The Trinity River Vision Authority at the Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth will be holding a spectacular event called “Rockin’ the River.” Every Thursday through August 7th, locals can enjoy a breath taking event right on the river from their inner tubes.

The old and the young get together and float on their rafts and inner tubes to get a comfortable spot for the concerts. The event has been described as, “A floating nightclub with no cover and never a wait for the bathroom.” Hundreds to thousands of fans gather and enjoy the beautiful tones of various performers with the company of river rats alike.

Rockin’ the River takes place each Thursday night of summer until August 7th. Gates open at 4:30pm with the bands performing from 6:45pm until 9:30pm. Each performance will be followed by a beautiful firework show overlooking the river.

Admission and parking are both free and concessions will be available for sale. There are no outside drinks or food permitted. If you do not have an inner tube, kayak, canoe, or paddle board, you may rent one. You will not want to miss this once in a lifetime amazing event!
