Halloween Events for Trick or Treating

Halloween is almost here and there are a variety of local opportunities to celebrate! We want you and your family to get the most out of this exciting holiday, which is why we suggest attending one of these local budget friendly events:

 Boo at the Zoo

From October 24th until October 26th, the Fort Worth Zoo will be hosting Halloween entertainment throughout the entire place. From 10:00am until 5:00pm, you and your kiddos can enjoy educational fun at the zoo, while dressed in your most adorable or spookiest outfit! Your admission into the zoo invites you to enjoy the Halloween activities.

Fall Festival at Prestonwood Baptist in Plano, TX

On October 31th, Prestonwood Baptist Church will turn into a virtual Texas mini State Fair from 6:00 pm until 9:00pm! This FREE event welcomes locals to enjoy a variety of family friendly activities, including face painting, game booths, bounce houses, petting zoo, food trucks, candy fun run, and much more!  This is the 22nd year this event has been held and last year over 30,000 people attended.

Boo on Ballard

On October 30th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, historic downtown Wylie on Ballard Avenue will turn into a safe and controlled trick or treating extravaganza! This free event invites locals to enjoy Halloween activities in a safe environment. On top of the costume contest there will also be a bungee trampoline, foam cannon, and zip line!
