Celebrate the history of our great state at "Texas History Alive" which presents kids with fun, interactive demonstrations giving them insights to the founding and history of Texas. The event will be held at the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum on March 29, 2014 from 12-5pm. Admission is $10 per child, but adults are free!

- 1870s chuck wagon with a cook and fur trapper!
- Pioneer tents that house spinners and weavers
- Join in for old-time chores including butter churning, corn grinding and learn how to do laundry without today’s modern machines!
- Farmhouse tours
- Presentations
- Make and take crafts
This event is presented by Texana Living History Assoc. and A.W. Perry Homestead Museum. It’s a great outing for scouts, families, homeschool groups and anyone looking to learn more about the history of The Lone Star State.
