Make the most of the fall season in Texas at these great festivals.
Fall is in full swing, and it might be flying by faster than you’d like! Fortunately, there are some great local events coming up that can help you slow down and find things to do to savor the season. Don’t miss these upcoming free fall festivals in Texas that are perfect for the whole family!
- 12th Annual Trunk or Treat: At the University of Texas at Dallas, you’ll find a long-running event that’s perfect for the whole family! Grab your kids in costume and head to Residence Hall Northwest between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on October 30th to get in on the fun games and trick-or-treat at trunks decorated and sponsored by different university departments and student organizations.
- Fall Festival at Prestonwood: On Halloween, Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus will be hosting a free fall festival from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be candy (of course!), face painting to put the perfect finishing touches on your kids’ costumes, inflatables, game booths, an adventure train, and food trucks so you can grab a bite to eat while you’re there!
- Festival at the Switchyard: Railroads helped make Carrollton what it is today, and their important role is honored each year at this local festival. Held in downtown Carrollton right near their local station, this free event features rides, games for the kids, and concerts. This year, 3 Doors Down is headlining the festival with Fastball.
We hope you have a fantastic time at Texas’s fall festivals!
